The Changing of the Guard will go ahead from Monday 23 August and will take place each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday until further notice (subject to any future impact from COVID-19 on the national or local picture, or on military resilience).

Nicknamed ‘Beefeaters’, the Yeoman Body of 32 men and women are all drawn from the Armed Forces. Each new recruit takes an oath of royal allegiance said to date back to 1337.

On Sunday due to Church services, there is no guiding inside St Paul’s Cathedral. The Changing of the Guard is subject to scheduling and weather conditions. If it is not operating we will visit the Horse Guards for a photo stop instead. This tour ends at the Tower of London at approx. 4:30pm. On Wednesdays, this tour will end at the London Eye and the tour itinerary will be subject to change.
